Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published latest recruitment notification 2013 for filling up Group B and Group C vacancies by conducting Combined Graduate Level Examination 2013. Candidates should have minimum Graduation from a recognized University . Interested and Eligible candidates should apply via Online at SSC Online Portal. Group-B Posts:

1. Assistant
2. Assistant (Cypher)
3. Inspector of Income Tax
4. Inspector, (Central Excise)
5. Inspector (Preventive Officer)
6. Inspector (Examiner)
7. Assistant Enforcement Officer
8. Sub Inspector
9. Inspector of Posts
10. Divisional Accountant
11. Statistical Investigator Gr.II
12. Inspector

Group-C Posts:

1. Auditor
2. Accountant / Junior Accountant
3. Upper Division Clerk
4. Tax Assistant
5. Complier
6. Sub-Inspector

Educational Qualifications : Candidates should have Bachelors Degree from any recognized University or equivalent.

Age limit : 

i) 18 to 27 years for  Inspector of Income Tax/ Inspector  (Central  Excise)/
Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector (Examiner)/ Inspector of Posts/ Assistant  Enforcement
Officer/Inspector (CBN) Compiler/ Divisional Accountant/ Auditors/ UDCs /Tax Assistants/ Junior
Accountant & Accountant /Sub-Inspector (CBN) posts

ii) Not exceeding 26 years for Statistical Investigator post
ii) 20 to 27 years for Assistant / Sub Inspector in CBI

Selection Procedure : Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination and the Interview / Skill Test / Computer Proficiency Test / Document Verification.

Scheme of Examination :   The Examination will be conducted in three tiers as indicated below:

Tier-I : Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier-II: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier-III: Personality Test cum Interview / Computer Proficiency Test / Skill Test / Document Verification & Descriptive / Online Test.

Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts. Paper-III is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II & Compiler.

Application fee : Rs. 100/-. No fee for SC / ST / PWD / Women/ Ex-SM candidates

How to Apply : Candidates should apply through Online and Offline mode.

Online Mode : Candidates required to Online at apply SSC websites : http://ssconline.nic.in and http://ssconline2.gov.in

Offline Mode: The complete applications in the prescribed format along with all relevant document should reach to concerned Regional / Sub-Regional Offices of the Commission as mentioned in Advertisement.

• Last date for Receipt of Application : 15 February 2013

• Written Examination (Tier-I) : 14 April 2013 & 21 April 2013
• Written Examination (Tier-II) : 20 July 2013 (Paper-III) & 21 July 2013 (Paper I&II)
